kindred times and future goodbyes
Know Hope recently had an outdoor show in an abandoned building in Tel Aviv. This show, Kindred Times and Future Goodbyes was completed with Foma <3, Klone and Zero Cents. They all managed to keep the location a secret until opening night, and I wish I had been there.

Uniform Project: Put on your dress and do...
There have been few things that I have written about that have filled me with as much inspiration as the Uniform Project. It is wonderful seeing two girls helping to change the world. Here is how it works. 1 Dress. 365 Days. A fashion philanthropy project. Starting May 2009, Sheena Matheiken has pledged to wear one dress “designed by Elisha Starbuck” for one year as an exercise in...

What do lost children look for?
Wooden sculptures of the mystery artist Gehard Demetz, who lives in the mountains of Italy. I’d love to know more about this guy, but I found nothing other than imagery.

all girl punk show tonight
It’s pretty empowering to be able to walk out of watching “Don’t Need You: the herstory of Riot Grrrl” straight into an interview with Allison Wolfe, one of the most famous Riot Grrrls, a legendary icon for punk feminism, and a focus of the documentary. She’s about to embark on an East coast tour with her latest musical act, Partyline, which mixes catchy beats...

When going to a movie feels like you are going to a music show you know you are in for a great time. Cars full of my favorite friends waiting to have a childhood dream come true. BRING PUPPETRY BACK. I’m sick of all this cartoon crap. Remember The Elephant Show, Shining Time Station, The Lamp Chop show, Zoobaleezoo, The Circus Show the list goes on and on. Last night was awesome. I love it...

Monotonix: Richmond Virginia Plaza Bowl
When I go to a show I want to see a performance. I want to be in the front covered in sweat while being pushed up against a drum set. When God sends you a Rock band from Israel all you can do is lay your soul down and worship the Rock Gods. It was an amazing show plaza bowl was the perfect location. You guys really missed out. I would gladly drop my life to follow these guys on tour.

no one's complained yet
Eric Cheung and Sean Martindale have been activating public space through a form of guerrilla gardening in the urban environment of Toronto, on top of posters for District 9 and The Ugly Truth.
Some might say they’ve been busy planting flowers, most of which unfortunately were torn down or stolen by the day’s end. For more info visit http://torontoist.com/2009/07/green_sleeves.php
