The head pieces in this spread from March’s Vogue Nippon remind me of Bernadette Peters’ designs from Slaves of New York. If you haven’t seen that movie, watch it soon. 

Designer Julian Louie was an architecture student who was selected for Italian Vogue’s ‘Protege Project’. He was invited to design a small collection that showed in Florence, Sydney, and Tokyo, and has since created his own official line. These wedges are from his current collection collaborated with Aldo. I normally gravitate towards black shoes but i love some wedges and I would wear any of these any day…..yummmmm summer.

Nicki Minaj is everywhere. It is no surprise that the young and upcoming mogul has stolen the cover of the spring edition of V magazine. She is a “motherfucking monster” and she wants the world to know. The photos were taken by Inez & vinoodh. I’m not sure yet who styled the photos but they are amazing. Kudos to the makeup department. Crazy and Classy that is my kind of girl.

One of my favorite models is Tocarra Jones. Her full figure and southern charm captured my heart on the first season of Top Model. If you are not a Tyra addict like myself you may have seen her in Essence Magazine or hosting on BET. She is not just a top model she is a Woman to admire. These images of her in Italian Vogue are stunning. It would be wonderful to see something this vibrant in Vogue in the United States. Miss Jones is a full figured model changing the game up. Oh that fur and that leather.

It’s Thursday night and it’s the first day of filming for the Kenna video for MTV. We got a banging house party theme for tonight. I am counting down the hours till we are kicking it hard in front of the lights. My favorite people in Richmond are going to be here. Thank you everyone before hand. I’ve got people helping me that i’ve known for 10 years. It’s all about who you met at a hardcore show when you were 18. Anyways kiddies.

Filming starts at 9pm tonight on Broad street. The address will be sent out to those who RSVP on the facebook. If you do not have access to the face you will have to come into the store to find out.  21+ but you 18 and up kids can be extras. Shits free. Shits fun. Be yourself. Last week Marshe & I judged a fashion show at the VFMA that showcased the work of teenage designers from the Richmond area. Each participant used a piece of art work from the museum as inspiration, and were encouraged to use as many recycled materials as possible. The designs were incredible, and it was a such great opportunity of exposure and experience for these talented high schoolers.

And I was one with the water like it was in the beginning. 

One of the many things Casey and I loved about the Riu was the great selection of cuisine. Casey is wheat free-gluten free and she also can’t eat tomatoes or potatoes or cheese. And I mostly fruit and strictly roots so for us to have full meals each day was amazing. We felt like Queens of the world. Jamaica thanks for taking care of your daughters.

You must cross the bamboo bridge before you enter the waters of MAYFIELD FALLS AND MINERAL SPRINGS

Our amazing guide. Who led me threw waterfalls, swam us threw water caves and promised to remove every rock that I slipped on. He has worked at Mayfield giving tours for 7 years. He lives close by. He sings wonderfully.  I am so envious of his life and his light.

The Bamboo grows at an incredible speed. It must be cut and burned during the daylight to ensure it does not spread. Walking threw the waters it felt as if your body turned into complete energy. It was walking meditation. Thats bamboo on fire in the background. 

Mayfield Falls offers some of the prettiest scenery Mother Nature has to offer. Driving through the tropical Jamaica rainforest, the first thing you notice is the clean, fresh mountain air… 

Mayfield Falls is truly a nature lover’s paradise - two beautiful waterfalls, 21 natural pools, 52 varieties of ferns, an abundance of exotic tropical flowers and plant species, and several types of birds, butterflies, and indigenous wildlife.

Dr Caves  white sand and gorgeous translucent aqua water right in Montego Bay. In 1906, Dr. McCatty donated his beach property to found a bathing club in Montego Bay. It was used mainly by doctors who believed the waters were healing. The beach used to be entered threw a Cave. The crystal clear water has a temperature range winter and summer from 79 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
