Anna Wintour, the editor-in-cheif of renowned fashion magazine Vogue has joined the political campaign!  She’s completely pissed off republicans by teaming up with designers like Marc Jacobs, Thakoon Panichgul, Monique Péan, Vera Wang, and, Derek Lam to create pieces in the service of a democratic fund raiser. I am actually about a month late in finding out about this! But I discovered these pieces while shopping online and fell in love:

This designer recently slipped into the industry after receiving her degree at the Royal Danish Academy for Fine Arts School of  Design.  She began interning at Dior, then worked as a junior designer with Alexander McQueen, and finally debuted her line in fall of 2010. Anne’s fall 2012 line is a natural blend between art and fashion that I haven’t seen in accomplished so well in a while. Looking close & you’ll see the concept revolved around human and animal faces.  As of now I haven’t found where to purchase her clothes but the website will soon have shopping options!

I can’t believe I am once again finding out about a Screaming Females show within hours before they play. The Screaming crew just left Rumors.  If you are around and you like kick ass music then you need to be at Screaming Females at 6pm at Strange Matter located at 929 west grace street. Its probably a couple bucks. But the moment will last forever. I will be there drinking Mimosas with my girl Marissa. It’s going to be a long night.
