I was sitting in my room one day thinking about my life. I was thinking about my store and my friends, this city that I love and the art and the music that has created a nest for me in Richmond Virginia. All of my friends are artist, educators, students, musicians, writers and the list goes on and on. I live on a block with at least 30 musicians who are in bands that I love. I live in a house where you are awaken by the the echo of the bass and the pounding of drums. I complained once about not having more video of all the amazing things that happen within a 20 mile radius and now I am trying to solve that problem. I started compiling video for a movie that I am freely making to share. If you are in a band, If you are an artist of any type, If you have any ideas, any stories to share I would love to film you. I love the city that I live in and I want to have something I can look back at and remember what it was like. I have never done any type of filming or editing so you will have to bare with me.
I started filming one block from my house. This is my next door neighbor Gull performing on Broad street on first firday in June. He is a masked creature named Gull who can simultaneously play guitar, drums and sing.
